Twilight goes to the human world with Spike when Sunset warns her of the Dazzlings' appearance, Equestria beings that utilized their singing talents to deceive people. She is subsequently recruited as the interim lead vocalist for her Canterlot High School classmates' band, the Rainbooms, in order to participate in the school's Battle of the Bands while she works on a counter-spell to break the Dazzlings' mind-control spell on the kids. The Rainbooms vanquish the Dazzlings and render them useless with the assistance of Sunset. Sunset maintains contact with her once she returns to Equestria with Spike, using her magic book. There are also a few miscellaneous Alicorns in the series: According to Rainbow Dash, the "Good Fortune Garnet was bestowed to the founders of Cloudsdale by a mysterious and powerful Alicorn," while the Crystal Empire itself is strewn with Alicorn emblems and was formerly controlled by Princess Amore, Cadence's distant relative. Additionally, we have the Love Potion Alicorn, who may or may not be a princess from the Crystal Empire dynasty. Thus, there are several unicorns about which we know nothing and which have certainly died or vanished from existence. To the point that Celestia and Luna, both born alicorns, were taken aback by the birth of Flurry Heart. As a result, I'm left wondering... what the heck is going on here? There is a CLEAR distinction between Alicorns who are born and seem impervious to the ravages of time and those who are created. None of them really immortal, but they seem to be, don't they? There IS A DIFFERENCE TO BE MADE IN THIS CASE. As a result, I'd want to ask you... What, in your opinion, is the primary distinction between Aliicorns and Alicorns? And what became of the last Alicorns in Equestria?

Twilight Sparkle is the most educated pony in the mane cast, having the greatest formal schooling. She takes things very seriously, nearly to the point of obsession, yet goes above and beyond to watch out for her friends. She is driven by an insatiable need for knowledge, particularly when it comes to magic and discovering her limitations. Twilight Sparkle is also obsessively organized, owing to her drive for success and huge knowledge. She holds Princess Celestia in great regard and will accept nothing less than perfection in order to impress the princess. This may be problematic for Twilight Sparkle, since it might make her seem very greedy and accentuate her more negative characteristics. Twilight Sparkle is infamous for freaking out and having anxiety episodes that impact everyone around her when she learns the princess would be paying a visit. Her anxiousness may suffocate her and exaggerate her almost non-existent social abilities. When this occurs, she attempts to resolve her difficulties with magic and things she's read rather than depending on her friends, exacerbating any already existing problems.
