The station was serviced by sixteen staging tracks that were enclosed in an 894-foot-long train shed. The $20 million three-story structure remained essentially untouched until 1984, when it was demolished to make way for the 42-story Citicorp Center. The Volo Automobile Museum The Volo Auto Museum, founded in 1960 by the Grams family, is an automotive museum and collector vehicle dealer located in the Chicago suburb of Volo, Illinois, USA. The museum features an exhibit of collector automobiles ranging from vintage to modern classics, with a special emphasis on American automobiles from the 1950â1980 period, television and film cars, bizarre automobiles, automobiles previously owned by the rich and famous, and a large, one-of-a-kind display of Disney and Looney Tunes characters. This museum is unique in that a considerable number of the cars on show (in five enormous buildings) are available for purchase. A military-themed "Armed Forces Exhibit," erected in the late 2000s, is one of 33 exhibitions on the 25-acre museum property. One of the museum's four antique malls is said to be haunted, attracting ghost hunters and sightings, as well as an episode of the television program Ghost Lab. Volo, House of Cars, the museum's own television series on History, premiered in 2017.
