Cornifer is easiest to locate by ascending from Queen's Station and entering the Fog Canyon. Ascend to about the center of the chamber and glance left for a hidden tunnel. To travel through Isma's tunnel, you will need Isma's Tear. You are now at the Queen's Gardens after swimming through. Continue to the left, then descend to the bottom of the next chamber and turn right. You will need to defeat several mantis adversaries before proceeding correctly.

Cornifer's location

Maps are critical for a game as vast as Hollow Knight. With all the retracing, it's quite easy to lose track of where the A item needing B upgrade was placed. While there is an in-game item that will reveal you the locations of all the Grubs you haven't saved yet, it appears much later in the game, and other collectibles lack such an item. As a result, I'm repeating the game a second time and noting the locations of EVERYTHING as well as the abilities required to access items discovered as you traverse Hallownest. This handbook includes the following: Not everything will be noted immediately, since I will not be filling in every detail only from memory, but rather by repeating the game and marking the precise spots. The Knight dives from what looks to be a cliff in the opening sequence. When players return to Dirtmouth and see that gate, they begin to question whether escape is really conceivable. Will returning beyond that gate enable them to exit this place? No, but it will bring them back to the Howling Cliffs, where their quest really started. The Howling Cliffs is where the game's cutscene begins. This location served as the tutorial's starting point and is the territory you travel through on your way to the city of Dirtmouth. The previous courses taught you about healing and how to properly utilize your nail. When you initially come here, there is nothing to do but progress and follow the lessons. However, the good news is that you may return to the location if you earn the Mantis Claw.

Navigate to the sub-area and descend one level to locate Quirrel. Within the basement area, you must activate a series of switches positioned on the room's left and right sides. Once you've activated all of these switches, the bottom right gate will open, leading to the Mantis Lords arena. As this is a rather difficult encounter, delaying it until you are stronger is not a terrible idea. If you do decide to take on the boss head, be aware that it will most likely take many attempts to defeat. Essentially, this boss encounter is divided into two sections. In the initial phase, you'll confront a solitary Mantis Lord. The Mantis Lords are dexterous and adept at teleporting throughout the arena.
A Wanderer's Journal, a ghost for which you may use your Dream Nail, a Racid Egg on the fourth level, and a Bench at the top are all located here. A artificial wall next to the Bench leads to the Resting Grounds. Proceed beyond the fountain and towards the Royal Waterways exit to sell your items to Relic Seeker Lemm. Continue to the left and improve your Nail at the Nailsmith (you should have 2 Pale Ore), and lastly, open and take the elevator to Forgotten Crossroads on the upper left side of the map. Dream Warriors are minibosses that may be defeated throughout Hollow Knight's universe. These bosses provide dream essence in exchange for defeating them, although they might be difficult to defeat.
