The paint on the front end of the automobile was faded and seemed to have been touched up. I didn't even attempt to open the package. I could see the flaw through the package's cellophane. I would not suggest this if you're looking for a "mint" product. Returned quickly, which was quite inconvenient. The whole objective of shopping online is to avoid going out, and when this occurs, you will have to go out to return.

Hot Wheels Fast And Furious Dodge Charger Daytona
Mattel has launched a new line of automobiles honoring the complete Fast and Furious film franchise, with vehicles from each film. It's intriguing that they chose to offer them under the Mattel brand rather than the Mattel-owned Hot Wheels or Matchbox. These vehicles are somewhat bigger than standard HW or Matchbox vehicles. At a minimum, one scale greater. This is Fast and Furious 6's 1969 Dodge Daytona. It's stunning, and really well-detailed, even down to the side exhaust. If you are a fan of MOPAR, Muscle Cars, Wing Cars, Mattel, or Fast and Furious, this is a wonderful addition to your collection (Approx 1:50 Scale)
The 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona was reinstated in the lineup in 2013, ten years after the original '70 Dodge Charger Daytona casting was discontinued in 2003. This casting is completely unique in comparison to the original 1970 Dodge Charger Daytona that debuted in 1996. To begin, it sits much higher than the original 1996 casting, and it has differing wheel sizes for the front and rear axles. This casting debuted in Metalflake Plum, and is based on Vin Diesel's automobile from Fast & Furious 6.

The Dodge Daytona, one of the two famous aero-cars, featured unique body modifications such as a 23-inch (584 mm) tall stabilizer wing on the rear deck, a special sheet-metal "nose cone" in place of the traditional upright front grille, a flush rear backlight (rear window area), a 'window cap' to cover the original Charger's recessed rear window, specific front fenders and hood modeled after the upcoming 1970 Charger, The Daytona was manufactured to the R/T trim level of the 1969 Charger, which meant it came standard with a heavy-duty suspension and braking system, as well as a 440 cu in (7.2 L) Magnum engine. Collectors will take notice of the optional 426 cu in (7.0 L) Hemi V8 engine, which was fitted to just 70 of the 503 Daytonas. It had a corporate relative in the "one-year-only" 1970 Plymouth Superbird, and the Charger Daytona was conceived with the assistance of Chrysler's missile engineers. The "Winged Warriors," as they were popularly called, did not race in NASCAR's premier Cup series for an extended period of time. The next season of NASCAR, the executives decided to prohibit aerodynamic specifications on vehicles with engines larger than 305 cubic inches (i.e. the same five litre limit imposed by the SCCA for the Trans-Am and internationally by the FIA for Group 5 sports cars). Due to the Aero Cars' superior speed and performance, NASCAR amended the rules, essentially prohibiting all four from Dodge, Ford, Mercury, and Plymouth by the end of 1970. Additional information regarding aero vehicles may be found at Plymouth Superbird, Ford Torino Talladega, and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler II. In 1970, the Daytona 500 featured a single winged vehicle, the #22 dubbed "little motor."
The Daytona was designed in reaction to Ford's long-nose Torino Talladega fastback and was an instant success on the track. And on March 24, 1970, at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama, with Buddy Baker at the wheel of Chrysler Engineering's number 88 vehicle, the Charger Daytona became the first NASCAR racecar to perform a lap faster than 200 mph. Thus, there is already a great deal of mystique around the Daytona even before it appears in this film. And, as expected, Dom's Daytona isn't really a Daytona.
Cotton Owens owned this automobile and Buddy Baker drove it in seven races. Its most defining moment may have occurred on September 7, 1970, when the vehicle won the Southern 500 at Darlington. Buddy Baker had a tremendous career with this vehicle and other teams, winning a total of 19 races. In certain ways, he is Nascar's quickest man, having posted the fastest Daytona 500 lap time ever. He averaged 177.602mph at the 1980 Daytona 500.
