Given Rocket's off-world origins, it's possible that he has no idea what Build-A-Bear is, and therefore his casual acceptance of Tony's comment in Avengers: Endgame may just be because he lacked the energy for a linguistic duel. That said, it's not difficult to extrapolate what it implies, and so his rather candid response may have been intended. In any case, that back-and-forth serves as an excellent teaser for the eventual reveal of Rocket's horrific background. Gunn has indicated that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 would shed light on the scars on Rocket's back, since the threequel will conclude the character's journey. To begin, I'd want to express how incredible this film is. Everything is flawless, from the music, to the colors, to the characters, to the images, to the tale, to the tone. This film is amusing but yet serious when necessary; the characters have distinct personalities and develop as well. The music fits and is flawless, the color scheme perfectly complements the tone of the film, and the plot makes sense. My main quibble is probably with the villain; he came off as cliched at times, but he wasn't all that horrible and made an adequate antagonist. 9/10, highly suggest; you don't even have to be a fan of Marvel to enjoy this film; it's simply so much fun!
The team is condemned to incarceration in the Kyln, a maximum-security prison. Throughout their stay, Rocket warned the majority of the captives at the Kyln that they would not lay their hands on Peter Quill for fear of being consumed by him. Rocket also sought to dissuade Quill from interfering in a fight involving Gamora, whom Drax the Destroyer had threatened to murder. Gamora decided to divide the proceeds from selling the orb to the Collector with Rocket, Groot, and Quill after rescuing her. The party escapes thanks to Rocket's improvised scheme, as well as the addition of Drax as a friend. Rocket also constructs a bomb using Milano components on their way to Knowhere.
