Jen re-enters the real world and takes a job with an old coworker, Mallory Book. She has taken up residence in The Wasp's spare flat, and she has even organized a friendly fight club with Titania to work off their mutual hostility. Then, Jack of Hearts appeared unexpectedly at her home, despite the world, including She-Hulk, assuming he had died saving her on an Avengers mission.

Gao was recruited in November after the series was announced in August 2019. In September 2020, Coiro was hired to helm many episodes, and Maslany was cast. By December, Roth and Ruffalo had been added to the cast, and Anu Valia had been added to the director's chair. Filming in Los Angeles and Atlanta, Georgia, started in mid-April 2021 and concluded in late August. She-Hulk is set to premiere in mid-2022 and will have 10 episodes. It will be included in the MCU's Phase Four.
