On September 13, 2020, Hiroko Utsumi and Bones were announced to be developing an anime television series. Additional information was not provided until the following week. Utsumi directed the series, while Ichiro Kouchi managed the screenplays, Michinori Chiba created the characters and served as the series' principal animation director[2], and Ry Takahashi wrote the series' soundtrack. The series aired on ABC and TV Asahi's ANiMAZiNG!!! [ja] programming block from January 10 to April 4, 2021.
