We rode the last train out of San Diego and into Union Station, just in time for our flight out of Los Angeles International Airport. By the time we arrived at Union Station, everything had been shut down and the night staff was cleaning and mopping, which meant that there were quite a few cones and machines to navigate our way from the tracks to the door. Nonetheless, I discovered that I like the vibe of this station. It was all wood and glitter and lofty ceilings, and it brought a grin to my face. The Christmas decorations were also wonderful, with the lights glistening off the surfaces - they contributed to the establishment's overall glam vibe.

Pier at Manhattan Beach The Manhattan Beach Pier is a pier on the Pacific Ocean's shore in Manhattan Beach, California. The 928-foot-long pier is situated near the terminus of Manhattan Beach Boulevard.
