Words cannot express how dreadful the dialogue was: a relentless barrage of terrible one-liners that made me feel somewhat queasy. Not to add some of the most cringe-worthy acting I've ever saw. It's tough to imagine a guy with nicer hair than the majority of the females I know as a strong warrior, and to be honest, he's not that remarkable in the film... In the majority of encounters, his obese barbarian companion outshines him... sigh
Talus kidnaps Silda, Ramusan's daughter. Ramusan then informs Mathayus that if he is able to rescue his daughter, he would be granted the privilege to marry her and reestablish a kingdom. Silda gets abducted by the ninja army of the mysterious "Cobra" before Mathayus can rescue her. Talus employs Mathayus and Olaf to get the princess and the head of Cobra. They eventually find themselves in an exiles' camp overseen by Cobra, who is revealed to be Silda herself. Talus enters Ramusan's palace and steals the Book of the Dead, wounding Ramusan in the process. He does it by resurrecting the warriors Zulu Kondo, Agromael, and Tsukai. Talus tells them to murder his finest men as a test of their strength, which they readily do. Tsukai and Zulu Kondo are tasked with the mission of attacking the exiles' camp. Mathayus, Olaf, and Silda's ninjas beat Zulu Kondo in combat by cooperating. Tsukai, on the other hand, escapes.

I fell asleep while watching the first time and decided, against my better judgment, to continue watching it before writing a review. What an error. The film is unsure if it is Roman, Greek, barbarian, Chinese, or Indian, which led me to believe that owing to the film's poor budget, they looted a warehouse of leftover props from better films.
Synopsis
Mathayus's sorceress-queen is assassinated by a bug that decimated his realm. Suffering by remorse and failure, the Akkadian resumed his mercenary life. He is hired by Horus, king of the now-dominant Near Eastern kingdom, to assist in defending the Hindu king Ramusan's palace, guardian of the Book of the Death and the last ally standing in the way of Horus's rogue brother Talus's bid for the throne via his Far Eastern raids yielding the largest army ever. Mathuyas is tasked with assisting the simpleton Teutonic giant Olaf. Ramusan is unable to give them the promised cash, but offers his daughter Silda's hand in exchange for a magnificent medallion shown in her painting. Their struggle is compounded by the mysterious Cobra, who was recruited by Talus to capture the princess. The couple pretends to join Talus's service, but discovers an even more complex plot, while Talus grabs the book and so has the ability to summon the warrior ghosts. — Vissers KGF
